200 Students From SD Ebenhaezer Pleasure To Visit Airport

Manado- The Sam Ratulangi Airport Manado has an opportunity to welcome hundreds of special guests, Saturday (8/10). They are students of grade 1 and 2 of SD Ebenhaezer who visit in the framework of “Thematic the Exciting Experience”

The students seem very enthusiastic to watch the fire-fighting equipments and vehicles at the Fire Station directly. “We often receive such visits. But this is a special for us, because it is the highest participants in a single visit. For that, we have prepared personnel and activity plans from the distant days. Moreover, they would visit non-public areas so that they need assistance personnel to accompany them,” said Nugroho Jati General Manager Sam Ratulangi Airport Manado.

He also added that such visit is one form of service and education to the public. “In addition to introducing area, tools, and supporting facilities, this is the good moment  to introduce professions that exist at the airport to the students, so we hope that they not only know pilot, but also or aviation security, fire fighting officers, and many more,” said Jati.

In addition to the Fire Station area, the children were also invited to tour the terminal to see the security process of passengers and freight, from check-in up to the airport lounge. “They each had been equipped with paperwork that must be filled to recount their experiences during this visit,” said Herce one of homeroom accompanying.
