Sam Ratulangi Airport Manado Commemorates The National Transportation Day

Manado– The National Transportation Day commemoration ceremony 2016 took place at the field in front of the administrative offices of Sam Ratulangi Airport Manado, on Monday (19/9). Acting as an inspector of ceremony, Olly Dondokambey Governor of North Sulawesi who read the speech of the Minister of Transportation, stated that the entire personnel of Transportation must permeate back the transportation motto “Wahana Manghayu Marga Pertiwi”. “Transportation is a vehicle for the welfare of the nation and the state. Transportation sector should be able to establish connectivity between islands and ensure accessibility to all regions of the Republic of Indonesia,” said Dolly.

At the ceremony also present, the North Sulawesi Police Chief, Military Commander, Airbase Commander, Airbase Commander Sam Ratulangi, Regional Leadership Coordinating Forum, and all Department Heads of Transportation of North Sulawesi province.

Before the ceremony was over, the awards were given to the officers in the transportation sectors. They are harbor officers and lighthouse officers in the outside border North Sulawesi province.
