Signing The LoA On Airport’s Limited Security Area

Manado -In order to guarantee a maximum security at Limited Security Area (DKT), PT. Angkasa Pura I invited the related leaders of Sam Ratulangi airport who have direct access to DKT to jointly sign a Letter of Agreement/LOA, Friday (30/9). The LOA signed related to the distribution of responsibility and coordination of security in access control to the Limited Security Area at the airport.

The agency that has a direct access to the Limited Security Area at Sam Ratulangi Airport is Air Force Airbase, Navy Airbase, Airnav Indonesia Manado District, BMKG and Pertamina DPPU Sam Ratulangi Airport.

The LOA signing ceremony was held at the Manguni Multipurpose room at 15.30 WITA and was attended by General Manager of Sam Ratulangi Airport Nugroho Jati who also opened the signing ceremony. The attended relevant agencies, namely the Commander of Navy Airbase Mayor Yulmintardi, the Head of Operation Department of the Air Force Air Base Mayor Dolfie Kaligis represents a Commander of Airbase, District Manager Airnav Veibert Mawikere and Deputy Head of Pertamina DPPU of Airport, Yantje represents the Head of DPPU, and from BMKG could not attend but they have confirmed to sign the agreement. While, acted as a witness of signatory was a Representative of Airport Authority Region VIII Muslim Pontoh.

“Distribution of responsibility and coordination with the relevant agencies in securing the use of access to the   Limited Security Area is absolutely necessary in order to avoid overlapping of rules because of all agencies certainly have had a SOP or standard operating of security respectively,” he said. He also added that the LOA signed jointly is a flexible which means that at any time it can repaired in accordance with the change in the rules in their respective agencies. [PR MDC]
